Helping wine businesses tell their unique stories...

Grand Dinner, IPNC 2008
I consider myself a marketing and communications coach for small, boutique wineries in the northwest who are not ready to hire a full-time director of marketing and communications (or agency), but, recognize they need a proven industry expert to help them effectively and efficiently realize their goals.
My interest is in helping these small and/or new winery owners understand how wine sales, marketing and communications really work, and how to become successful at planning out a marketing and branding campaign strategy. I help these individuals become more confident, competent and accomplished in the role of marketing and communications director, until they are ready to hire staff, an agency or a consultant.
I also offer marketing and communications solutions to established small to mid-size wineries interested in repositioning their branding efforts, or, who simply need fresh ideas or project work completed. In these cases, I work from a "project to project" business model, and consult with the client to customize a plan that meets specific and unique needs.
My areas of expertise include the following:
MARKETING:
Brand Analysis & Development
Design Collateral
Storytelling Principles
Label/Packaging Analysis & Guidance
Website Analysis & Maintenance
Blogging
Social Media Set Up & Integration
Event Planning & Promotion
PUBLIC RELATIONS & COMMUNICATION:
